If you're interested in LWR, there's 118 properties in foreclosure, as reported in the Bradenton Herald this morning...could be a great opportunity if that's where you're interested in purchasing a home.

Sorry, I don't know what sections my friend's homes are in......just that she owns a condo in one section, and 2 homes in the newer (newest?) sections. And no, Lakewood Ranch absolutely does not suck as one poster commented......it's well planned, and the homes are precisely what you'd expect, or nicer, in a newish planned community......no lack of detail or quality. The economy is affecting all areas there and I don't believe it's a particular reflection on LWR.
