Thought it would be a good time to post instructions on "How To" post pictures. there is also a text file attachment Attachment 499

Using a Free On-Line service to store your pictures. Many of the posters here including myself use Photobucket

http://photobucket.com (broken link) This is very quick and simple!


On their Home Page you will see ** REGISTER NOW ** Click on it and choose a username and password > follow the prompts and fill in the information
(** all the fields must be completed but you may choose not to supply the correct info if you do not want to give-up personal stuff i.e. gender – birthday**) The correct email address is recommended as it will be where they will send any info such as forgotten passwords,


Once you are logged in I suggest you go choose “account options” in the upper right hand corner and under Album

Settings change your album to private. Review all other settings.


To upload images logon to photobucket and under Upload Images & Videos choose browse > browse to the folder on

your computer (i.e. My Pictures) and > choose the file (like my great Florida Pic) and > hit upload


Now that you have images you want online you can use the Photobucket link in your post and it will display your

picture(s) Very easy


I – On Photobucket under each picture is 3 lines - URL Code - TAG Code and IMG code. Click on the IMG Code line and it will auto copy it.

II – On the forum choose “Post a Reply” > place your cursor in the message box > right click > choose paste. Add

what ever message while your there and preview your post > then hit submit

Florida may have its issues but it also has some wonderful things to offer. Depending on your viewpoint you will either love it or not. I think you’ll love it. All I have to do is take my camera with me and on any given day I can take a hundred great pictures. Best of luck on your move and welcome to the forum.
