Hi all
I have about 30 shots I’d like to share of Clearwater Beach and Sand Key Park just over the bridge from Clearwater. This may get a little long as a result so I’m breaking them up in to 3-4 posts. I hope you enjoy them. Shores9

I plan on preparing you now (in the coming weeks) for what you are going to get to see for yourself later. We've lived here 10 years, and there are so many BEAUTIFUL sights and places to see. And we never get tired of the same old scenery, lol

But hang in there nomoresnow - and try to be patient. Even though we are here and getting to enjoy all these sights - we still have full time jobs!!

Oh yeah - and we just bought two lots in the Lake Placid area for our retirement home. It is BEAUTIFUL up there. Two more years, but we can visit on weekends...


Well, welcome to Northern New York, Judlea. And thanks for the encouragement. Let's see....6 months, 11 days (give or take a few!). I will be there for a week in May. Can't come soon enough, especially since the 2 foot snowfall the other day. I've no idea how those people in western NY are handling it.

Where are the rest of your pictures????? I was here earlier when you posted the first 10 pictures. I had to leave then, but when I got back, the first thing I did was check in to see if you had more pictures posted...

I went to City-Data's home page and checked out a few other cities and towns and discovered they have been having a "post pictures of your city" contest (sweepstakes) since at least 2005. Who knew??? But the word definitely needs to get out for all our forum photo takers... (Does ScrantonWilkesBarre know???)

Gosh, they were already doing what I had hoped they would do and I didn't even know it. I checked out a few of the lesser populated places and there were no photos - but there was the invitation "Submit pictures of this city"

Now if they could just make it a "slide show"

Gotta go for now, but hope to see more pictures posted here tomorrow!!!

Don't get me wrong. I like the birds, the beach, the sights BUT that person consumed by the heat in the back seat of the car......THAT'S THE BEST!!!! :-)
