Wow, that guy looked like he was a castaway from Pirates of the Caribbean

I should be getting my new camera on Tuesday, so hopefully I will be able to contribute some halfway decent shots.

Sunshine....are you the person who was asking the other day about a digital camera for under $200 if possible? Well, if it was, I thought about you yesterday. I was at Costco. They have a kit - FUJIPIX something or other. 6.3 megapixels, 2.5 lcd screen, movie (I don't know if it has sound), 3X optical zoom I think it was....etc. The only thing I couldn't see from the box pics was if it had the viewfinder also.
If you have a costco nearby (and are a member or can go with a member) maybe you can take a look at it. It was $174.99. I don't know FUJI vs. Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic but.....
The other great thing about Costco is you can return anything, anytime, no matter how long ago you purchased it, no questions asked. So you could even buy it, try it, and return it if you don't like it.

Default Cape Coral Yacht Club

The Cape Coral Yacht Club is on the Caloosahatchee River (not on the Gulf itself)

This "bird" made me think of Shores9.
What happened to all your photos? I was looking through this thread from the beginning last night, and none of your photos show up. You had some beautiful stuff...

OK, I've gotten my fix for the tropics today. I feel warmer already just seeing those palm trees and the other trees that actually have leaves on them. Very nice pics!
