Florida Impressions - great shot!!

Here are two from about 2 hours ago as I was returning from a meeting.

I just wanted to tell all of you that I love your photos. They make me long for those wonderful Florida days from when I was a kid. My grandparents lived in Naples & Ft Myers and my Aunts in both Cape Coral and Tampa. I used to visit them all the time from my home here in Houston when I was a kid, at least 2-3 times a year. We lived in Plantation when I was little, went to Pine Ridge Elementary for Kindergarten. Your pictures bring back so many memories, thank you!!

I am a Texas girl by birthright and love it, but there is always a special place in my heart for Florida. We get to Key West about once a year now. We hope to retire there on a boat eventually, if we play our cards right.

Anyway, keep 'em comin'. Beautiful!

Shores, I always love it when the Ibises show up on the lawn. Free pest control, plus I get a kick out of watching my cat try to sneak up on them. I'm waiting for the morning I see an Ibis walking around with my cat stuck to it's bill.

The water's looking nice down there in Jensen. That's one of my favorite beaches, I stay there often in the summer. Gonna make a run down there next month as a matter of fact. Always love to see pictures from the beach there.

I think this is one of the best threads in this forum. I want to thank all for contributing with such a great pics. People from different parts of the US and the world have been able to get a glance at Florida.
