Actually, this is a hilly area for Florida. Here is the dirt road that goes back to my trailer in the deep woods near Wacahoota:

Default Homes on a sand bar,

Now look at the pictures and would you build a home on a sand bar ? Thats what they did. insurance rates increase when a storm hits an area like that and we all have to pay for it.
