I tried to get some auto quotes for Florida online but man, they don't make it easy. I just want a ball park answer but they want to have your name, address, phone number, d.o.b, blood type.....(ok, that one I made up) LOLOL
It's frustrating though.......I just want a general idea but they want your life story. They even want an address that you live in, in Florida......Hell--I'm not even there yet. Geeeez
I would think the zip code, my age, age of the drivers using the cars, the type of cars and the age of the cars would be all that matters (?)

It really matters where you live as to what your rate will be.
To get a ball park I used an address close to where I thought I wanted to be and just told them I'm still looking.
Ended up changing locations three times and they were all different.
Up north I insured five vehicles for what it cost me for three down here.

I know the rates are higher in Florida then what they would be for us here in Wisconsin. Just trying to figure this all out before we pull the plug and move to Florida. Have to get our "ducks in a row" so to speak. A person without a plan is a real dumb dumb. LOL

Make up some info and input it. Dont give them real info. Use the address of a supermarket, pick car models off Craigslist.

But then don't be shocked when the REAL quote comes in vastly different. Insurance of any kind here in FL is VERY specific, which is why most of us can't give you any kind of "ballpark" quotes on it unfortunately.

Credit history matters, too. To give you a quote, they need specifics.

Does getting a car insurance quote hurt your credit?
