We just moved to C Springs...we have heard this rumor about going down to the cruise ports and going on "stand by" to catch a cruise at a steal. Is this true? As anyone done so? What is involved? We heard you just kinda pack your bags and show up. If you get on, you can just pay the taxes or "port charges". Please inform us anyway you can! Thanks!

I have heard that there are stand-by spots for cruises. You have to make sure you have your passports if you are traveling to the islands that require a passport though.
