Yes, I spent many years coming to the games and allot of money doing it.
Florida will lose something very special if they allow this to happen. I won't travel to Arizona to the games. I have too many good memories of traveling around Florida to the games and saw all the old stadiums before they tore many of them down. This will hurt Florida I think. I know how much I spent on 2 weeks following the Reds around Florida and know many people who spent a ton more than I did. |

It looks like the Reds will probably be staying put, since Sarasota's city council(or whatever they're called) and hoteliers/restaurant owners/etc recognized the importance of their 2 months presence and are leaning towards finanacing a new stadium.
Actually it's very surprising that Vero Beach let the Dodgers go so easily. Thinking of that area, one would guess that they would be much more important for a place like that than say the Reds for Sarasota. |
