don't forget this was awarded to Airbus.....yes, I know Northrup G is also involved but give me a break..the French????? Boeing should have gotten this contract. Not to long ago we were so mad at the Frenchies we were calling french fries freedom fries....we have a short memory. Very unAmerican IMO.
GO BOEING!!!!!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'd write my congressman if I thought it would do any good. But I know this contract award will be contested and that should tie it up for months.

That is the new approach in the aerospace industry. We are associating with overseas companies to get more technology, creativity, monetary backing, resources and personnel. We got a bit in another contract that we have an Italian company as a co-designer of the project....

If you are dealing in billions you need some assurance that all your eggs are not alone in the basket....

Is like automobile industry, Honda, Hyundai, Toyota and others are manufacturing on the US because of the market... Look at Ford and Jaguar or Chrysler and Mercedes (now parted away)....

Anything that will bring long term jobs to Florida has to be a plus.

I am not for outsourcing our jobs but I am for insourcing jobs in any way we can to America that provides decent paying wages.
