That's the problem. The population gets denser year after year.

Is that a problem? People want to move to Florida. A good thing, no?

It is a problem if you like heavy surface road traffic, waiting in lines at the bank, supermarket, etc, like living in zero lot line communities, appreciate long wait times for services at home, enjoy crowding at local parks and playgrounds, etc. Those factors, among others, are reasons why one area of any state would be the worst to be in unless, of course, you prefer those conditions.

Well...I don't think Florida is the place to move to for people who don't want those things. Anywhere popular is going to have people coming in droves.

Yeah, it is like saying all of Volusia County is a dump because of Daytona Beach during bike week. OK, stay away from the bars and you will be OK and oh Port Orange, New Smyrna, Edgewater, Ormond and other areas are just fine and some have more and some less people, so a person can chose what they like. I have found most people move to SE FL due to work, not that they really want to live there.

People have a tendency to generalize when they have no earthly idea about what they are talking about.

Port Orange is a nice area. We moved there from Daytona and liked it a lot better.
