No place is for everyone. Those who relocate without a plan would have a tough time trying to get situated and back on track (some were off the track before they relocated which makes relocation more difficult).

What I never could understand why those who left a place continually use forums to voice their dissatisfaction with the place they left. I once poised that question to a psychologist who told me their are as many reasons for that behavior as there are people who do it. He personally felt that its a matter of their difficulty dealing with the fact they did no fulfill their desire to make the change they wanted and either went on to seek fulfillment elsewhere or returned to their place of origin still harboring their dislikes which originally caused them to leave in the first place.

So goes life.

Great post!

California has state income tax, really, really expensive real estate, illegal immigrant problems, very liberal politics.

It's a very pretty state to visit but a living hell if you are a fiscal conservative. Florida is none of these things outside of South Florida.

It depends on your definition of very liberal. It's not San Francisco but Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach are all very democratic counties.

At least you get more rain in CA. Weather just sucks in FL. No rain for months at a time and winters are getting warmer by the year.

Was rainy here today. I take a jog on the beach in the morning and around 7pm, and got rained on both times. However, during the day it was sunny.

Incredibly windy as well.

LOL, that person is either trolling or just a bit stupid when it comes to that topic. California has had one of the worst droughts in history until most recently. I'm talking bad, bad, bad!!!
