Additional Florida Sub-forums?
Just watned to entertain the idea of adding new sub-forums for cities like Fort Meyers/ Cape coral (SW Florida), Ocala, Gainesville. Has this already been discussed?

Chuck I think that would be a great idea! I would also include Sarasota/Charlotte counties in the SW Florida category.

I agree I think SWFL is a major part of Florida and there are a lot of discussions and questions about it and sometimes its a lot to keep up with. It seems we have all the sections of Fla covered, with Miami, Orlando, Tampa and even one for hurricanes but not SWFL... I def think there should be a subform

Moderator cut: The way it works~Your Mod~Sunrico~would present the plan to the Administrator. He will look at the amount of traffic and make the decision based on that. Before setting up a new sub-forum, there is a certain amount of posts per day that they look for. Hope this helps.

I know in the New York forum, it took months of yelling/begging/asking, etc to get a Buffalo sub-forum added...but they did do it. Before then, it was all NYC sub-forums......the western NY'er's felt left out.

The best approach will be to establish new areas for the Florida forum. Rather than list cities, use an area for example:
Central Florida
South Florida
North East Florida
North West Florida
And list the cities that apply to the region. Forum by cities are limiting, if the members are interested, please type the cities towns that will apply to each region and I will do a proposal to the forum leadership.
Suggestions?

I definitely agree with adding more cities: Ft. Myers, Cape Coral and others to the Florida Forum. This will enable readers to navigate in a more adequate search and quest for specific info.
Thanks.

We are limited by the amount of sub forums that we can add, so we need to look at another avenue....
