The Audi dealer in Melbourne took my car to have the windows tinted and the job is awesome. I'm not sure where they took it but it was a quality place.

Exactly the way to go. White Ford Escape, black interior and all around tinted windows. Moved down her with a black car and that didn't last long. Go functional, go with white.

Tinted windows and a well working AC system are more important than exterior color of car. Black interior will attract more heat than light, but not much. Florida summers are brutal to all cars.

Light colored car with a black interior. I use a shade for the windshield but it doesn't seem to help keeping the interior cooler.I think you would have to cover all the windows to have any effect.

That metal seat-belt buckle does you no favors, either, when it's roughly 1500 degrees to the touch.

I drive with the air off in my C6 Vette as it robs power. Only time any car truck really gets hot is when it is parked in the sun for hours.
