yeah exactly cause after shoveling snow constantly for the past 5 1/2 months I've come to realize that some bugs aren't that bad.. why do you keep bringing up past posts of mine, I think I've repeated quite a few times that I see that perhaps it wasn't so bad in Fla as I thought so bringing up past posts is really a futile effort

Anyone can let loose an "exotic" pet in Florida and it doesn't die, because it never gets cold enough.

Not a deal breaker but one in a very long line of deal breakers.
Time to get a grip on things...

And for the worst bugs of them all, you can't seem to get rid of these.

I agree, they are the WORST of all Florida bugs... They have nothing better to do than aggrivate you. Wow, that was a big one!!! What did you do to have that one show up at your door?

All it took was a false complaint from a disgruntled neighbor. Team Metro then had to make something up to write a civil violation notice. If it would have been at my home it would have been a different story.

Don't go to Ct,there are bears in the woods and they eat southeners:-)
Racoons too and they are mostly rabid! Not to forget those Parrots that are around now and they peck and bite and screech all the time.
Ct sure is a scary place!

Although there is one scorpion native to Florida, it does not sting. Personally, I have not ever seen one in nature. South Florida, by far, has far fewer annoying insects than New England. I have only seen 2 yellowjackets in ten years, ants are ethically controlled by simply caulking entrances, utilizing baking soda/ground hot pepper powder as barriers, etc. The insects generally live outside in South Florida, and not inside as they do in harsher climates.
