How could it "trickle down" if the the real estate bubble already popped? Do you know the definition of a bubble? The prices in the most overpriced areas have been spiraling in the double digit range for about a year. And the commodity bubble is nationwide, so that's nothing that you won't find outside of Florida. Do you even know what the real estate bubble was caused by? It's not going to "trickle down" for reasons that should seem obvious to anyone who hasn't been living under a rock for the past year.

I think you missed the point. I am just saying that I don't think you know what you are talking about, seeing how you mentioned "closures of I-4 in Miami/FLL". I-4 runs through Orlando...and the turnpike runs too far east to be affected by a plume of smoke.

Ah, yeah, it's a little cool in all the southeast I guess.

Do not attempt to tell me that 72 is a typical mid-April day there though. I know better..

Never said that buddy. This is rare. Trust me I'll really be hating it here more when the death heat starts.

Quality of life has changed. All coastal areas and the East Coast beg to differ on quality of life. It will trickle up to those that feel insulated (retirees, high-paid, etc).
worsening quality of life will trickle up every where in the US, not just FL,
also, we are in a recession don't expect any better income if you work in the
trades such as construction, plumbing, electric etc, salaries will keep going down all over US.
Again adjusted to epch, quality of life in FL as good as the best places in US.
