Of course you people realize in the winter especially the gulf coast it would be 8AM before sunrise???
My bet is congress will never approve this. Don't these politicians have more important issues at hand to deal with instead of messing with the time??

Changing the clocks is a pain. We don’t need time changes here in FL. Especially in the winter when it gets darker earlier anyway. I’m for leaving DST all year long.

Hawaii has NEVER observed DST. Most of Arizona hasn't observed DST since 1967.

Why was daylight savings time even implemented?

I think it was for farmers? Or that was the excuse...?
