Question Best Part Time Job in Florida

Many families are having financial problems and at times a part time job can be the solution the problem. This does limit the family time.

Please provide suggestions that might help some members.

Thank you

I suppose this would depend on what skills one has, but here are a few jobs that one can do without a ton of training or up front costs.....

1) Gutter cleaning...(requires ladders, not too tall in Florida)
2) Window cleaning.
3) house cleaning
4) Lawn mowing and trimming
5) Power washing houses. (requires a pressure washer, etc)
6) interior painting (requires some skill and technique)
7) Carpet cleaning
8) Child care (BIG responsibility)
9) Shopping for people
10) Dog walking
11) Car waxing/detailing
12) Errand running
13) Snow shoveling....oops, that is just up here

Also, sometimes one can use some of their life skills to earn extra money...like if you were a teacher, you could tutor. If you were in the trades, you can work at a big box Home Depot type store or home center.
If you know how to type, you can prepare resumes, term papers, etc.

I know there may be some snags with some of these, and I have no disrespect to those who do some of the above professionally.....these were just a few things that popped into my head in response to the question.

Frank D.

Lightbulb Condo Cleaning?

I was told by a friend that many couples are doing the tag-team in Condo cleaning and is a gold mine. If you are on call for immediate service the fee doubles. They are making about $50 per unit, they have about 25 units to clean on the week, mostly Saturday and they get this done in about one hour per unit. Many times they clean after working their regular jobs.

25 unit x $50.00 =$1,250.00 not bad... The spring break season is their best time. Easily $5K in a month. Not a bad plan...

Thank you
Wal-Mart does quite a lot of stocking during the night hours.

The night shift at UPS/Fed Ex/DHL.

McDonalds is always hiring & they do offer benefits as does Starbucks to part time employees.

Thank you
The best "part time job" I've ever had is tax preparer. Four months out of the year.

whippersnapper is on a distinguished road
Publix also gives benefits to its part time employees and you get stock options. Starbucks was another really good suggestion.
