The only area I would avoid is Fort Myers/Lehigh Acres. Fort Myers has some significant crime issues and Lehigh is crime central. Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Naples are all relatively safe. Otherwise, west coast of Florida is pretty safe.

I know Destin, 30A, are very safe and right on the beach and you can buy a condo or home within a mile of the beach for 320K. It's only going up in price, so you must get in now.

Pasco is the cheapest, but pretty rough west of US19. Homes under 50k should tell you it is not that great.
