Default Auto Insurance

I tried Allstates online auto insurance quote.

I'm moving out of state next month to Ohio and was curious to compare the rates in Florida with the rates in Ohio.

I went online to Allstate and ran their auto insurance estimater.

One surprise was that both quotes came out almost the same, Ohio vs FL.

The strangest thing was that I presently pay $1320 a half for 2 cars and the charts highest rate is $710 per half with all the bells and whistles.

Do all insurance companies charge their lifetime customers high rates?

I have found that you sometimes need to ask your agent to revisit what you are currently paying. Have them review your policy and see if they can lower your rates at all. Unfortunately, sometimes the lifelong customers don't pay as close attention as a new customer shopping around!

I was shopping around for auto insurance too. I found I got better quotes talking directly to an agent than I ever got requesting a quote on line.
