LMAO! I worked for numerous years to get to Seattle. I did everything in my power to get there. I thought it would be paradise. I got there. I hated it (mostly the gray skies, aloof people and, now, Calif. prices).

Take heed, folks, before considering Oregon or Washington. Arrrgh.

Yeah, I still can't believe I am here and it will be a year in May. I keep thinking I am going to wake up from this dream, but its not happening

We have 2 friends that came from LA and transferred so they have the same rate of pay. They like it here but they think the food (groceries and restaurants) stink compared to CA. They are vegan and there is not much here for them. Another friend has an internship that is ending in June and can not find work so he will probably go back to CA. He likes it in FL OK because of lots of friends but says the weather and lifestyle stink compared to CA.
