Releases from The Lake go East and West......So.....Contamination is on both sides of the Middle Peninsula South.

Ocean is beautiful colors on the East Coast so not happening here. Rarely does if ever. That is an advantage of being an ocean with waves.

Beaches are beautiful here where I live as well. All of my friends have been going to the beach this week in Sarasota and posting pics - water is clear and aqua -blue. I also live near the bay and that looks beautiful as well. I think some here may have "diarrhea of the eyes."

That's kind of a familiar refrain used by some to say global warming doesn't exist because it's been chilly where I live recently.

on the gulf side the run off comes out of the caloosahatchee mostly affecting the beaches around ft meyers..

I have a house on Casey Key on the water and I can assure you that the diarrhea affects many many beaches on the Gulf Coast.
