I am looking to move to Florida soon and can't decide. I like the beach and being around young people, I don't want to be around old retirees or family vacations. I was looking at Miami Beach(North Beach to stay away from the tourist ) But I can't think or any other places.

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks,

Have you done any research on Tampa or Ft. Lauderdale?

Not really, some on Ft. Lauderdale but from what I read Miami Beach has more action and a lot more younger people?

I think you are looking at the right city. Rob Cordry was on Kimmel and said he couldn't live in Miami because he's not 25 years old any more. We're currently in North Beach and, in general, there are a lot of younger people around. It's actually too young for us--we're moving to the Boca/Delray area. South Beach and Coconut Grove is also young, and Ft. Lauderdale is full of younger people downtown and in the beach area. Probably you should stay away from the west coast of Florida. It skews much older.

Go with South Florida for sure and I agree with South Beach, Coconut Grove, and Ft Lauderdale.
Good luck!

What is your idea of a night out and what kind of people do you like to hang out with? It's important to identify that because it varies by city and "South Florida" is huge with all kinds of bar scenes.

Ok--now you're getting picky.

Stay away from college campuses--I think that is where those kind of drinkers migrate to.
