I pretty much say at least 10 times a day to myself because I am someone who is lucky enough to be outside in this paradise most of the day... "Yep, this is why I hate this place". Nothing like waking up in October and it is 79 degrees at 6:30AM... Heat index of 86. 93 by 5PM, with a heat index of 101... Ya wicked awesome!!! I wish I could take where I work right now and drop it in MA. Things would be perfect. |

It is (negatively ) surprising to me that so many people don't understand that South FL is...Paradise on earth...
There is no other place in the world with such a combination of climate & quality of life...
On the other hand,it is good that the SoFL bashers leave the area & that many others do not want to emigrate there...
Otherwise,real estate prices would be Beverly Hills high...

However,statistics show that emigration has a flow from colder to hotter places...

I agree fully. I just have a job where I am outside a lot, and I am sooooo sick of this heat. I love where I work, I like Estero, but I hate the weather. Sorry if i come off as a malcontent. |
