Jill, Waterford Lakes is a large community in east Orlando. I don't know what the HOA fees are. If you go to realtor dot com and type in the zip code 32828 you will find a representation of the homes in that area. There are also some older communities that will come up, but Waterford Lakes is fairly new - it is still not completely built out. They have their own elementary school, I know some of the teachers there. It's a GREAT school and they have lots of parental support and the budget to underwrite great programs.

Other good communities in the area are Avalon Lakes and Stoneybrook - although they are a little further out. Closer into Orlando, but still great communities are The Preserve, Cypress Springs, Tivoli Woods and Vista Lakes. I live in this area and my HOA dues are about $120.00 a quarter - however my community is not a golfcourse community.

Good luck. I would be happy to answer any questions.

Shore Acres (in St. Petersburg):

They range anywhere from $200,000 (for the smaller ones) to $900,000 (for those on the water).
