Lakeland\Winter Haven Sub forum???
Lakeland, Winter Haven, Davenport, Haines City, and Auburndale. I've been seeing more and more threads popping up with regards to these cities and Polk County in General. The area continues to grow at a fast pace and between Tampa, Lakeland, and Orlando; this could turn into a megaregion area in the future.
Does anyone else think there should be a sub forum for this area?

Yes, I do. Polk County is HUGE, yet the cities get lumped in with Tampa or Orlando. It is really a huge region, in the center of the state and with all the people wanting to come here, I think it would be a good sub-forum.

I know a lot about Tampa and Orlando and not as much about the cities in the middle. I think the biggest reason you deserve your own forum is the fact that people definitely have questions specific to cities in Polk County that the bulk of people in the cities on either side may not know. This is a relocation forum.

one vote for sub forum
I think that cities in Polk county would make a good sub forum; the county is the size of Delaware, and gaining popularity as places to live

Why not have a sub-forum for every damn city while we're at it?

The member asked the question and we can evaluate his request. No, we can't have a sub-forum for every city.
Thank you.

I agree. I think that it will get more confusing if we have more sub forums. There is already too many sub forums. Please don't add more sub forums!

I agree, this being a relocation forum, people unfamiliar will have other options to research that they may not have otherwise known about. It could make a huge difference for someone or a famliy who may only think for this region their main choices are "Tampa area" or "Orlando area", When their is in fact a "Lakeland area" as well.
