The Globe is COOLING. Here's the empirical data:

Is there global cooling? The answer might not be what you expected. - Home

That is why its no longer called Global Warming, the new term is "Climate Change".

Ridiculously wrong.

See post 587 in this thread for a detailed debunking of this common man-made climate change denier "Big Lie."

Florida is turning into an environmental catastrophe

Google "global cooling" and read all the articles..some by scientists. Very persuasive stuff.

You know, Florida was under the sea not long ago, and now it's not. Who caused that? There were no Republicans back then, so can't blame them.

Since Miami is sinking, I guess in a while Florida will be under the sea again. Can you please let me know when that will be so I can sell my home while the getting is still good? I'll move to Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga...will that be high enough?

Why aren't you able to copy the URLs of any of these "persuasive" articles and post the links? Of course, what you deem as persuasive is likely denier propaganda that ignores empirical data and consensus, peer-reviewed scientific research.

See post 596 in this thread.

Florida is turning into an environmental catastrophe

BTW, when it becomes obvious that inundation threatens your house, you won't be able to sell it except at a substantial loss from its current price. I know of a person in the Norfolk area who experienced a sudden house price collapse even though their house never experienced ocean flooding but nearby houses were inundated.

Of course, continued environmental degradation, such as more persistent and severe toxic algal blooms, more intense and damaging hurricanes, and salt water intrusion of potable water aquifers, will lower the net demand for Florida real estate, regardless of fears over accelerating sea rise. Florida can't sell quality of life if its once wondrous environment isn't so wondrous any longer. And deniers such as you have no concerns over the loss of Florida's coral reef. Clearly, you don't get it.

Please explain to me how Floridians are indifferent to the great Florida reef dying, to the intrusion of salt water into their fresh water aquifers, the ongoing inundation of the state, more pervasive and severe toxic algal blooms, and more intense and severe hurricanes.

Sadly, denier politicians and their supporters are putting the entire world at risk if their actions result in the triggering of a vicious methane feedback loop, as repeatedly described and documented.

Please explain to me what you think happens to the 35 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide which is emitted annually as a result of fossil fuel burning and which accumulates in the atmosphere. Why don't you believe there are no severe consequences to this massive amount of pollution?
I seems to remember learning in the 3rd grade something about how plants convert carbon dioxide into oxygen...
