Perhaps considering pervasive global poverty, but from your descriptions, your carbon footprint is several times greater than mine. And, unlike me, you are an advocate for the mindless destruction of the Florida and global environment when rational alternative policies are available.

Again, why don't you care about the destruction of the Florida coral reef, vital to the livelihood of tens of thousands of Floridians and one of Florida's greatest natural assets?

Do you mean a wet acorn?

How do you know it's not a walnut, pecan, or even a peanut?

For those not interested in nuts, read this thread, and see especially post 2.

Temps and water levels have fallen and risen for Millions of years, and long before humans existed or become civilized enough to burn fossil fuels.

This link shows temp fluctations for the last 2,500 years. I takes its climate data from rocks and layers of Earth...

Global Temperature Trends Since 2500 B.C.

As I have been saying on C-D for quite a while, the Earth's climate is dictated by Solar activity and Volcanoes.

The article beneath and charts says nothing about man-made anything.

Really? What's my carbon footprint (I don't know, but from your many descriptions of your lifestyle as an admitted "one percenter," my carbon footprint is a fraction of yours)? What's the carbon footprint of the average human being?

This is just another prevarication and off-topic obfuscation designed to divert attention from the issue at hand.

I doubt if the Miami episode of "Sinking Cities" makes one mention of anybody's carbon footprint, although the collective carbon footprint of all of humanity is central to man-made climate change.

Whereas I recognize that mankind must transition away from fossil fuel consumption as rapidly as possible,
you continue to promote man-made climate change science denier "Big Lie" propaganda, and to support denier politicians who actually encourage increased fossil fuel consumption.

The emphasis in the Sinking Cities series, having watched it, is on just one of the dire consequences -- accelerating inundation -- of man-made climate change and not on the causes of the calamity.

This is just another piece of "Big Lie" man-made climate change science denier propaganda so eagerly promoted by you.

It is rebutted in detail in post 728 of this thread.

Florida is turning into an environmental catastrophe

Like I said before, ben, welcome to the grand solar minimum. Unfortunately for Florida, though, it only means the state will become even more popular. But, look on the bright side. Ice skating on the St. Johns river!
