Default Good place to look for rentals- Lady Lake/Leesburg area

Anyone have any suggestions? I was hoping to be looking at the Vero Beach area but just accepted a job in the Villages. I would love to live in the area- anyone have any suggestions on websites or realtors (if allowed!)

Thanks
Jen

We just moved in to a great new apartment complex. It's called "The Quarters". There are currently only 3 or 4 buildings open. The website is The Quarters - Home Page They don't have pictures yet but if you go to "About R&H" and look at 151 place you can see pictures. Everything is the same here!

Hi.
I am writing this from my 2nd home in Leesburg. There are many rentals here and in the Lady Lake area.
The Villages should also help you locate a place. Check with their local forum and newspaper.
You might also check the local Leesburg paper, The Daily Commercial. They also have a good website.

Congratulations! We like visiting up there......we were just up there the other night, walking the boardwalk, going to dinner there, etc. The shops are nice, and it is so cool to see the many different types of golf carts everywhere.

What will you be doing there?

Frank D.

Wow- in my many travels through that area I have never seen this place. It looks nice, but I really need a 4 bedroom and it looks like their largest is a 3. Although if I do not find a place soon I may just consider it! Thanks

My issue here is that I am looking for a family friendly area- I have 3 children. For some reason when I look in the Villages papers and/or surrounding towns I find only the 55+ areas. Which I realize would be normal for the area, but its like finding a needle in a haystack. Add to that- I am looking for a 4 bedroom that will allow 2 dogs. Their combined weight is 32 pounds but they are still 2 dogs. I will check out the Daily Commercial though- thank you!

jenrein,
I was going to post that you may want to consider the Ocala area....because I believe it is not too far from the Villages, but then I see that you are from there.
I mistakenly thought you were from a farther away place and were relocating to the central Florida area.

Good luck with your search......since you are not too far from where you are looking, hopefully you will find something soon.....perhaps you may want to put an ad in the paper SEEKING that type of apartment or house......good luck!

Thank you- I thought Ocala wasn't too far either until I had to fill my tank every other day, haha. And we do have the luxury of being close enough to check places out, very true. Thanks for the hope!

I am looking for a studio apt. in the Lady Lake area, in a complex that accepts pets (1). I am 60 years old and disabled so it has to be on a ground floor level. I am on a low (fixed) income, so I cannot afford to pay much over $500. Right now, I am living with family members and this arrangement is just not working out. I would appreciate any help that you can offer. ----Hootie
