Default considering a move to Naples

I have been reading some of the post in regards to housing/insurance and taxes. Some of your comments are concerning. Any thoughts from anyone that currently lives in this area. Thanks.

Housing costs are insane unless you are very rich. They have come down recently but still are way overpriced. Rental housing is nearly impossible to find if you are middle class.

The tax rate is actually reasonable but you pay a lot in taxes since home values are inflated.

Homeowners insurance is in the stratosphere due to the hurricaines. Naples also has some of the most expensive gas in Florida.

What specifically do you want to know?
