babiegryl - PM means to send me a personal message (as to not post it on the public viewing.....just in case you had some questions, etc.) You click on my USERNAME and you will see a drop down menu and you will see "send a direct message...." that is PM.

There are many areas here - all alphabetized. I live in the B section - where the streets start with "BA..." Ours is a very nice area. We have lived here for over 10 years. Off of a main street called Belle Terre.

Many people live in many different areas and it is hard to post which is good and which is not, without offending anyone. I think they are all fine to be honest. I would come and look at the areas, yourself. See what you think. Some areas have a lot of duplexes and some not. Some are close to the Interstate (noise at times if the air is dense).... Some areas have more trees, some are barren lots. Some folks like no trees, not me. Some areas are really far south and that may be more affordable - Palm Coast is 25 sq miles! A LOT OF TERRAIN!! So it is hard to tell you.

I would suggest to come down, spend a couple of days and just drive around and see what YOU are looking for. Look at that page of rentals and make a list of homes you wish to view. Go to MapQuest: Maps, Directions, Gas Prices & Business Directory or google map and you can see where they are located and plan your own "viewing map".

Hope that helped a "little bit".

jberm8556, we UNDERSTAND THE NEED FOR SUN! We do too - coming from the midwest where the winters are long, gray and cold and did I say GRAY!????!! UGH!!
Wait till you see these nice long days of sunshine and brilliant BLUE SKIES!! AHHH!!!!

Warning it does get HOT so beware but everyone lives in shorts and flip flops...so who cares? Well, it is hard at times for people like me who do have to wear professional dress clothes! That does get a bit old but crank up the A/C in the car and I am ready to go to work!!!

Yessss; year round flip flops and shorts sounds wonderful!!!!! The good comes with the bad I won't even be mad at having to wear warmer dress clothes to work cause when I get off :-) I am sooooo ready to come!!!! I have on some dress pants with knee high boots and a sweater and I am still kinda cool. It is May the first; it should not be cold. I mean at what point is it gonna warm up. When I was in school I remember it being hot the last couple of months, now the kids are wearing sweatshirts on the last days of school. When I say the weather is what is driving us there that is what I mean. I hate the cold I would rather be hot any day before being cold.

Hey There,

My brother and his wife live there and Im getting ready to move there from Los Angeles,........It will be a culture shock but the houses are so cheap to buy or rent !!! I have 4 nieces and nephews in the school system.....Great area........Only problem,? The elderly are so irritable,....Honestly , I have never seen so much rudeness coming from that population I even spoke to a few,...they told me they wanted palmcoast to be a retirement community,...and I REALLY DONT WANT TO SAY THIS BUT THEY ARE NOT HAPPY ONE BIT ABOUT IT!!!!But, I am excited about the area,,..My brother has a great realtor lady if you need any suggestions!!!bESIDES THAT IF YOU HAVE KIDS? ITS GREAT SCHOOL SYSTEM!!!!

Hope that helped,...and they have alot of really cool festivals and fairs ,,..you have a small town,...feel just great place ........PS.....IM originally from jersey.........Take care, LA
