Volusia county is general is nice but the most action is Daytona Beach
. New Smyrna is BORING nothing to do there but eat. Ormond is lovely and has great places to go. Areas are slowly improving after the 04 hurricanes. Government needs to get it's head out of it's ass and starting pumping money into the city to spruce it up. We know they have it! |

I have to say that visiting Daytona/Ormond beach I had no problems w/the look, they are very nice and I never thought that they were dirty places that needed to be cleaned up.

You must not have wandered off the main roads then, Jlivan. Daytona and even parts of Ormond are run down and not very safe.
