Default Need advice on Melbourne area family-friendly neighborhoods!

My family is considering moving to the Melbourne area from Southern California. We have three children in grades 1-8 and we want to stay in Catholic school. We are looking at Ascension School and would like learn more about great neighborhoods for families. We don't want to live where there is airport noise or busy streets. We like gated communities but don't have to be in one. We would like to find an area that is safe, with lots of kids, not a far commute to Ascension or the Catholic High School. I would greatly appreciate any insight you may have!
