Default what is san antonio like for living?

Can anyone tell me about this town? Is it good to live in and is the cost of homes resaonable? How is the job availability for an average, middle-aged person? I've been searching for an area in FL to move to and I've stumbled upon this place which seems like a nice place. I hope I can chat with someone there that can fill me in on things.
Thanks for taking the time to read....and your help.

golf anyone? is on a distinguished road
I've been there a few times and have played some golf. I also know of an ex-coworker that lives there. In a nutshell, San Antonio is fairly rural. There isn't much happening in terms of professional work...mostly your normal "blue collar"-type work...farming, hospitality, warehouse, etc...Don't get me wrong, it is a nice place, if your into the rural setting. The nice thing is that it is close to the Tampa/St.Pete area...about 20-30 minutes from Tampa and within an hour to other surrounding cities in the Hillsborough/Pinellas counties proper.

Hope this helps and good luck!
