What is the best time to visit the Keys?

For most, though, the really good times for visiting the Florida Keys are in late April to early June and November to mid-December. Not much chance of a hurricane then.

For us that we live under an hr from Key Largo, any day of the year is great to go spend time in the Conch Republic

been seeing a lot of NY tags....Jersey too....and all the usual suspects from Georgia, etc

best time is what do you want to do?.....eat outside and drink....winter

fish...they pretty much have different seasons

diving....definitely Sept/Oct

kayak, ride a bike....get out of the cold.....winter

edit: one thing to add....I've never seen so many people riding around looking at houses for sale...and the realtors all say they are swamped

Avoid the Skeeters ???

Early or late daylight hrs of the hot and humid months, or carry your NON AEROSOL spray of Cutter Skinsations anytime you feel them out there circling your space.

That way they really dont exist at all !!

Back in late October last year we spent some time in the Keys (3 nights in Marathon) there was nothing to rent in Cayo Hueso...The Weekend of the Craziness...We were right in front of Sparkings Landing, so we were there basically most everyday, specially everynite..Awesome Restaurand and Bar...

On the Saturday that weekend we went to watch the Hurricanes game and had to ask for it to be showing...every other TV was showing the dammed Ohio Buckeyes and the Bar was full of those Nuts. We won that day that's all we cared for, their parking lot on the way out and back to the Holiday Inn was full of Ohio Tags.

They Love our State, too bad they don't like the Florida Teams . . . . why else ? ? ? They ALL love Florida except the XRnative
