Default What's the Safest City In Florida on The Ocean?

Could someone help me out here. I am looking for a safe area in Florida to move to that is on or near the ocean. I was looking at Cape Coral but now it looks like is it not a safe place any more.

I am a medical professional so employement will not be an issue. I can thankfully find a job easily.

I appreciate your input.

What do you mean by safety? It's beautiful and feels really safe along the stretch of beaches where we live but we do get storms and we're certain crime is everywhere even though you may not see it happening. You just have to be smart, be prepared, be knowledgeable and then just enjoy life where ever you are.

I'm talking about crime, not hurricanes. I was set on Cape Coral until I went and rented a house by the yacht club and the house was broken into during the day when I went to the store and the police said they hit 3 homes that day and 2 the day before. They were the ones that told me that the crime is increasing.

I don't want to be living in areas that are high in crime. I really appreciate your advice

Thanks
