Are there any good festivals in Florida? (Bradenton, Port Charlotte: relocating, live)

I am relocating to Florida from Wisconsin in a few months. My husband and I love country music and enjoy going to the festivals in Wisconsin, a lot of which have huge country music stars headlining. Does anyone know of any good, fun festivals like this in Florida?

The Zellwood corn festival in the Mount Dora area.

When I lived in Winter Park in 1995-1998 I went 2 years, and it was great. I saw Sawyer Brown, John Anderson, Billy Dean, Blackhawk... back when Country music was a lot better... Ate lots of corn, hence the reason they call it the Zellwood Corn festival...LOL!!!

Sebastian has the seafood festival every year too.

Florida Festivals and Fairs

Some of the parks have country singers like Cypress Gardens. Willie Nelson and the Gatlin Brothers were at Cypress Gardens in January and Kenny Rogers was there in February. The Oak Ridge Boys were there in March. Other parks like Epcot, Universal Studios and Bush Gardens had the Go-Go's, LL CoolJ, The Glen Miller Orchestra, Kool and the Gang, Pat Boone, Third Eye Blind, Heart, The Beach Boys, The Ventures, Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons, Wayne Newton, Hewey Lewis and The News, Davy Jones, etc.. The concerts are all free and included with park admission.

In the fall at Food and Wine at Epcot there will be Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, En Vouge, Jon Secada, Spyro Gyra, Otis Day and the Knights, etc..

Lots of good music around here!

They have CountryFest every year in Port Charlotte. It was just last weekend.

The Hunsader Farms Festival in Bradenton is always fun.

there is the Suwanni River Jam in Lake City (north FL) held every April. It's a 3 day country music jam held in a campground so you can camp overnight if you want.

In my county (citrus county) we have the Manatee festival in Crystal River, the Cooter festival in Inverness (cooter is a turtle), Strawberry festival in Floral city. A few more but i can't think of them off my head. Just note, most of these are held in the late winter, early spring because it's too darn hot to be out walking around in the mid summer months.
