Default South Walton?

I saw a thing about the beaches of South Walton but can't find any information about the city of South Walton ... I am guessing it is not a city. Anyhow the beaches look incredible! Can anyone help me find maybe cities close by this area?

Check out Destin, Grayton Beach, Seaside, Seagrove. That'll get you started. There is no city of South Walton. There is Fort Walton and Fort Walton Beach but the cities/towns I listed above are nicer, IMO. South Walton refers to the name of the county. This area is also known as the Emerald Coast. Anything east of Destin is fabulous. Destin is nice too but way too busy.

The Beaches of South Walton refers to this 18 or so mile stretch of beach communities located along the Scenic Highway 30A. South Walton is the part of the county in which the beaches are located.

And yes, you are correct .... it is incredible !!!

Here is a link to a video on our rare coastal dune lakes that you might enjoy watching ... it's only 13 minutes:

I happen to like Okaloosa Co. where Ft. Walton Beach is located and also Santa Rosa Co. ..........

It may not be as upscale as some of the other areas mentioned but I see potential.......

I am living in Tarpon Springs right now. I don't think we're to far from South Walton I just never heard of it & actually the website is what first got my attention of South Walton I'm not very internet/computer litterate so it's takin me some time to figure out what's what on the site.

Keep in mind this is where my husband, and daughter (6th grader) will be living as well as my eldest girl. So I also need kind of an area that is fun for young people.
