If you had to rank the following in terms of quality of life, crime, and ultimately if you choose one to live in

not necessarily worrying about jobs -- which would you choose?

1. Bunnell

2. Daytona

3. St. Augustine

Not familiar with Bunnell (seems like it's at a disadvantage in this poll due to being further from the beach), but I'd absolutely pick St Augustine over Daytona. I find the former to be a lot more pleasant.

Love St. Augustine (and I used to live in Daytona as a kid).

Don't know anything about Bunnell but if you are wanting in the Daytona area Port Orange right next door is far better than Daytona. New Smyrna is another area as is Ormond Beach. All close to Daytona with less crime, though crime is really dependant on who you are, what time you go out, and where you live even in Daytona. St. Augustine is nice but very crowded with tourists.

These three are very different from each other and offer completely different lifestyles.

Bunnell is best if you want to experience small town or rural living.

St. Augustine is best if you want to live with the Old Florida, historical aesthetic all around you.

Daytona is best if you want the most amenities nearby, or if you just like to spend your time at the bar.

Ormond Beach for me, I can easily get to all these places though not much in Bunnell. Again, for me, personally.
