Anyone know of Sugar Pond Manor section of Wellington? Any thoughts on it?

Yes, I know of it. A former co-worker of mine lives in there and really likes the neighborhood. You're close to stuff and (to me) doesn't look like the typical cookie cutter houses you see in newer developments. I'd definitely suggest for you to give it a look.

It's an older development, back when Wellington was a better place to live. Well let's call it the good'ole days lol. Not gated, older homes many are pre-Andrew hurricane code, shingle roofs and etc. Nice sized lots though.

The only way that would happen is if the roof had been replaced and they did some other major construction/renovation. Most of the homes in Sugar Pond were built in the mid 80s. I believe it was around 1994 when the post-Andrew code was adopted (Andrew hit in 1992).

If the house was built in 1994 or later, it should have been built to the post-Andrew codes.
