Default Does this place exist in Florida?

Hi, I'm a web designer considering relocating to Florida from Las Vegas.

I would like to know if there is an area in Florida that meets these criteria:

- Where I could find a job in my field

- low to low-moderate crime rate

- Reasonable proximity to a beach (preferably walking distance, or a 5 -20 minute drive)

- manageable cost of living, I will most likely be renting

- 30 to 40 minutes away from some night life and culture action etc..

Is there anywhere that would be remotely close to having all these elements? or am I in fantasy land?

Thanks in Advance

What heydade said. There are tons of areas that can meet that very loose criteria, so you need to narrow down your search. Your career shouldn't be much of an issue but I think the Orlando area has the strongest market (and yes there are areas near Orlando where you wont get robbed every night, I swear).

That covers a LOT of areas. Now you just need to narrow down what part of the state you want to be in. In south Florida you should probably look into Coral Springs or Coconut Creek (both rank among the safest cities in the country), that would meet 100% of your criteria. However you might not want to live in South Florida because it is crowded and general day to day living costs are higher than, say, St. Petersburg which is another very nice city with areas outside of it that meet 100% of your criteria. There are areas in Brevard County that also meet your requirement because it is not far from Orlando but close to the beach. It really all depends on what and where you want as Florida is a big state and there are a LOT of areas that will meet your broad criteria.
