I have seen on many threads who do you get rid of palmetto bugs...or as they are known here in NY..."cockroaches"...
...the best way I know and have used is a simple mixture of baking soda and powdered sugar...when I lived in NYC...I used 2/3 cup of baking soda and 1/3 cup of powdered sugar...mixed well...
The powdered sugar attracts them...they eat the mix...and some of the baking soda sticks to their legs...the baking soda binds them...and they eventually go back to there nest...eventually they die/burst...
...and the other roaches eat them...as well as the baking soda mix...they then suffer the same fate...and eventually...no more roaches...
...
I have heard this mix works just as well on ants...but I have never tried it on them...perhaps someone could try it on those florida red ants and let me know how it work....
