Hoping to relocate to the panama city area. A friendly visit to the area coming up and was hoping there was anyone out there with some advise on where and what not to do or go.Have been researching the area for housing and employment not really comg up with alot of avenues can ANYONE out there help me.

deckardc had some very useful info re panama city but I don't think he posts anymore (last post was 11/07).
Anyway, my family and I researched the area - I even had a job interview there. Beautiful beaches. Bay county schools are average. Somewhat isolated of an area. MUCH better place for families are the Destin/Ft Walton/Niceville areas - better schools.
