Default Destin vs Key West?

Okey so I'm looking for bluntly honest advise here

particularly at night..

Destin...the entertainment orientation in Key West is much 'boozier'.

Destin is closer to more entertainment options. Key West is fun if you are of age and feel like getting pissy drunk and watching a freak show at Mallory Square. And Destin has better beaches, much better.

The choice is Destin, the area was developed taking into account the whole family.

Destin. Key West is great, but if you actually want to go to the beach, Destin has some beautiful beaches!

If you go to Key West though, book an "adventure package" from a company that does snorkeling/jet skiing/parasailing, etc. all in one.

unfortunately we cant go to destin or key west anymore
we're flying southwest becaue my dad is a pilot and giving us passes
& we have to pick a city we dont have to rent a car to drive to from the airport since we're all only either 18 or 19

so we're going to fort lauderdale! so if anyone has any tips about the best area to stay for our age group or anything else about the city please let me know!

Thumbs up Ft. Liquirdale

From Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport, take a cab(or courtesy van) to your hotel room at the Sheraton Yankee Clipper on Ft. Lauderdale Beach that your going to book. Then just enjoy the beach & breakfast, lunch & dinner, simply by walking the infamous Ft. Lauderdale Strip!
