Default Marco Island RE/rentals

Hello,

I was thinking of purchasing a small beachfront condo on Marco Island (a much older unit) and I was wondering how the RE market is overall there and is there a need for yet another rental unit on the beach. Will I have a hard time renting it out? I was looking at the 1 bedroom units. Thanks!

I know someone who has a Marco Island condo for sale. It's on the bayside though. It is a 1/1, 800 sq ft, top floor, overlooks the pool, recently refurbished, Tommy Bahama style furniture-that comes with it, new frig, new dishwasher, bathroom redone. I'm thinking she was asking in the low 300's. Maybe 319K?

She told me that in high season the rent varies from $1200-$1600 per week.

It is in Anglers Cove Condominiums

It's actually LewLew's mother-in-law. She posts on this board occasionally, you could contact her if you're interested.
