Inverness within 10 mile-radius
I am looking for 1 bed apt in Inverness, and 10 miles radius.
I wasn't able to come up with results on-line! is that area limited on Apartments?
------------------------------------------------------------------
-Also any idea on the residential real estate market in the same area?
Has it gone through some price changes lately?
-what would I get for 150K?
Thanks

I'm from Inverness. there are not many apartments at all in the area. The most you'll find are home rentals.
Do you have to rent or can you buy a small and cheap home?

Decent home for that price. I have one for sale now 2 bedrooms. small home with view of the lakes in Inverness for only $97,000. It's listed online if your interested to see it. I just moved back to NH but my husband is still there to show the home.

I'm not an Inverness resident (at least not yet - I'm considering it) but as far as I can tell there is no real beach nearby. There is a very small beach near Crystal River, but it's nothing like the gulf shore beaches of south Florida. In fact, it sort of reminded me of the beaches near the Chesapeake Bay, where I live now. More like a salt marsh than a gulf beach. The closest "real" beach is probably in the Tampa - St. Pete area. Maybe some natives could chime in? I might learn something, too.

Your right. There is no clear view of a beach because there isn't any. That's where the name of "Nature Coast" which is what the coastline is known as there because it's all still natural. There is a man made beach in Crystal River but i never go there because it's always closed due to bacteria in the water. The closest decent beaches are down by St. Pete/Clearwater.

I know that this thread hasn't been posted in for awhile, but I wanted to clear up a couple of issues. I live in Inverness and while we are about 30 minutes from the Gulf, we do have a nice lake close to the downtown area. Also, there are quite a few apartments for rent in the area, many of them are off of a road called Pleasant Grove (C.R. 581).

Is the golf very expensive in that area? I thought Greenleaf or some resort is up there. I need cheap housing and cheap golf.
