Hi! My family and I (two adults, two children) are planning to come down there for the 30th Annual Destin Seafood Festival (would be our first time for the festival itself but not for the area) and I was wondering what the closest accomodations were to the festival/HarborWalk/Destin Harbor. Have you heard of or seen the new Emerald Grande? Looks like they may be having a 30% off special until the end of August.

I am considering visiting Destin in November or April next year, but not sure whetether it is nice as St pete's on the gulf coast . We live in the UK and are over in Kissimme x twice a year and always spend a few days over on the Gulf coast. Does anyone who knows Florida well recommend us travelling so far for a visit.
