Default Mulberry area

We are renting in Mulberry this winter - is golf expensive? Is there many reasonable priced restaurants? Is it safe for seniors to be out around the Imperial Golf course area? Would appreciate any info.

Don't know about the cost of golf but from what I know of the area you should be fine as long as you don't feed the gators and keep an eye out for stray golf balls in flight. I don't know of crime being an issue in the general area from what friends observed when living in that area of the county. Have fun in the sunny winter here.

My mom lives in Mulberry I'm unsure of how the golf is there I don't know anyone who golfs and don't even know where the Golf course is there but we do have alot of them here in Florida.

The restaurants are reasonable in Mulberry there is a McD and and a few other fast food chain stores there. If you go down 37 it takes you into Lakeland on the way there you will see a Super Walmart and a few more restaurants. The super walmart isn't that far from Mulberry going down 37.

Default Mulberry?

Well, it depends where in mulberry you are, but i recomment heading north toward Lakeland, there are some golf areas up there. Mulberry itself isnt the greatest place, very industrial, railroads everywhere.

Default Enjoy

The golf course at Imperial Lakes is a very good course, having been improved quite a bit in the last couple years. The cost is reasonable for green fees.. not for membership. I don't know that much about other courses in the area.
If you're looking for a friendly, welcoming church in Mulberry, visit the Mulberry United Methodist Church on Church Ave.
Enjoy your winter.

Believe it or not, I once lived in Plant City and my sister lived in Lake Wales. I used to drive through Mulberry weekley. If you blink you'll miss it.

Not so much anymore. It has grown some now as Lakeland encroaches. I still live nearby. There has been a lot of new housing development on the north side off of highway 60. Before many more moons Lakeland and Mulberry will be meeting on South FL Avenue.

I last went through the area about 2-3 years ago, The area on 37 between Polk Pkwy and I-4 is beautiful and looks like it would be a nice place to live.
