Wow...we never made it up to 61 here in Orlando today. Our high so far was 56! It's supposed to be in the 30's tonight in some of the outlying areas! Hope my new plants will be OK.

Is actually a very nice afternoon, you can see the sky and not a lot of wind. Just perfect for grilling two NY strips, bake poatoes and vegies follow by cheesecake, port and red wine...

This morning, at 6:10, it is 30 degrees. Later today, it's supposed to be up around 58 degrees, with sunshine. Great weather for working in the backyard, going fishing, anything outside! I'm going to soak it all up, as much as possible, and try not to think about June, July, August...

Yipppeee!....finally some refreshing weather, thought mother nature had forgotten us. Woke up to 51 degrees - now it's 4:20 pm and it's 72...the sun has been out all day, not a cloud in the sky - simply picture perfect.
The added bonus was everyone was perky & in a good mood today - people smiling, saying thank you's...yeah, it's been an awesome day.

And Sunrico...that grilling sure sounds like a grrrrrrrrreat idea!!!! mmmm...mmmm....good. I was going to fry some fish, but I think I'll throw them on the grill, instead...and throw some veggies in there while I'm at it.

Lulu,

I'm grilling on Saturday again, my son and his future wife are coming over and she loves fish. My wife makes a superb ceviche for appetizer, I like calamata olives, mushrooms, artichoke, and small pieces of prossutto with shaved pecorino as antipasto and will grill a fresh salmon with a capers sauce on the side , grilled sweet potatoes and veggies. A bottle of Pinot, maybe a cheese cake or triple chocolate cake and the rest is history....

Maybe I might break the seal on the Port and later a cup of fresh colombian coffee (we grind the coffee every day), wont be able to sleep….

yeah, this lifelong floridian remembers when 53 degrees was cold. if i had 53 degrees in winter now, i would put on a bathing suit and lay out by the pool.

sigh.

Question Question

Not to be obnoxious, you guys are fellow city-data addicts & fellow Floridians.
But - if you like 50's, which is very rare here, then...
WHY THE HELL DO YOU LIVE HERE???!!!
Eh hem...
Seriously though...That's the question I always ask all the people that hate the heat!
But the answer is usually that they hate winter, snow etc.
Even though some don't like the dead of summer, they like 70's/80...
But if you like 40's/50's, me thinks yer livin' in the WROOOOONG place!!!
