Default Florida Panthers

Hey, moving from Michigan and I am a huge hockey fan. Obviously being close to Hockeytown and being in the Joe, most places will not compare.. but how is it going to the Florida Panthers games? Are the crowds pretty big or is it usually a dead stadium? Also, how much do the tickets usually run and is it easy to move seats if you want?

They get good crowd and it's a beautiful arena. Easy parking.

My daughter played ice hockey through college. When she was about 14, her LI team was invited to play another NYC girls team between periods at a Rangers game in Madison Square Garden. The Rangers were losing badly that day. After the girls teams finished playing and the Rangers took the ice and started playing, one guy in the stands stood up and shouted very loudly, "YOU SUCK! Bring back the GIRLS!" The whole garden stood up and cheered. It was hysterical.

Have fun with hockey in Florida.

We are season ticket holders. Going to Panthers games is fun but the team does not get the type of hometown support you are used to in Detroit. The team does many promotions to get fannies in the seats so there usually are people in the arena, especially when the Panthers play popular teams like Philly, NY, and Montreal. I don't know what single seats cost, but I know they seem expensive to people who buy them. The cost of parking is imbedded in the price of the tickets so there is no additional charge to park at the arena.

The arena itself is a really nice arena and it is easy to get to. It's right off the Sawgrass and not far off I-595. Food and drink are good but expensive, even for an arena.
